Not a Match

not matching shoesJust because someone offers to help you doesn’t always mean it’s a good idea. Sometimes they have their own agenda for offering their help. I know how desperate you can get as a business owner, especially when it comes to marketing your business. You will take anyones help or advice to get your name or idea out there, but sometimes it might not be the right choice.

How can you tell if you’re a good match with someone offering their help? Ask a few questions. Are they reputable? Do they have reviews you can read online? Are they a good person? Ask about their experience. Ask if they love their job. Of course you can come up with a few of your own questions, just be sure you’re asking some.

Remember, it’s ok to say “No thank you.”
